FAMILY MINISTRY
We Desire to Serve Entire Families for
Christ-Centered Ministry
There are a variety of ways that children, teenagers, and their parents may get equipped through FBC San Angelo for becoming and making disciples.
MINISTRIES FOR CHILDREN
Children of all ages are an important part of our First Baptist family. From infants to 5th grade, we offer a safe, loving environment where preschoolers and children can learn the promises of God, come to know Him as their personal Savior, and be equipped to serve others in our community and around the world.
Infants and preschoolers quickly learn that church is a safe and fun place to learn about Jesus through stories, crafts, music, and playtime.
Our children, first through fifth grades, are taught God’s word each week through Sunday Bible Study Groups and Kingdom Kids on Wednesdays. Sunday School and Kingdom Kids feature music for worship and fun biblical training to serve others in our community and around the world.
Children are also welcome in all worship services! We encourage families to be together in worship. Services actually feature a time just for children. A nursery and extended care rooms are available if needed.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY WEEKLY SCHEDULE
Activities for children are easily located on the first floor of the FBC main campus. Look for the colorful walls paintings and kid-friendly decorations. If you need assistance in finding the children’s areas, please contact the church office or ask a friendly volunteer or staff member when you arrive at the building. All children’s areas are secure, well-lit, clean, and monitored by educated and helpful volunteers who have completed and passed background checks.

REACH STUDENT MINISTRY
The mission of the FBC Student Ministry is to REACH. We get this from Matthew 22:37-40 where Jesus says, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.” Here we see where we are called to REACH UP in our Faith as Jesus reaches down and then we are called to REACH OUT as we love and engage others with the Gospel.
So not only will our focus be to REACH UP in order to stay connected to the Father who is always reaching down, but also to REACH OUT to our friends, classmates, family members, or anyone we come in contact with in order to fulfill the Great Commission of making disciples.
